A Peak Behind The Screen



For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with the human brain, specifically why we do what we do. This plays a pivotal role in how I approach my business, as well. I am not interested in the newest Facebook trick that will "get you 100 more 'likes'!". What I am interested in is creating brands and businesses that speak to the heads and hearts of the consumer.  I don't create "plastic brands". I help create brands with substance, and with grit.

With over 9 years of experience in the marketing and start-up sector, I have seen it all - the good, the bad, and the ugly. But every single experience, whether it was a "success" or a "failure", has proven to be a valuable learning experience. 

I started C. James Innovations with one goal: to work with rebellious entrepreneurs to develop unique brands by relentlessly challenging the status quo and disrupting the norm. The individuals that I work with are hell-bent on doing things differently, they refuse to do something just because "it's always been done that way", and they aren't afraid to ask "why?". My hope is to play a role (be it big or small) in creating legacy brands - brands that transcend time, trends, and will be around long after I'm not.

Side note: C. James Innovations is named after my father, Clark James Davis, as he is one of the hardest working individuals that I know. My work ethic, drive, and slightly-rebellious tendencies all came from him.
